Ebonite/Ebony Aka-Tamenuri Polygonal Fountain Pen Barrel

Aka-Tamenuri is a layered urushi technique known for its depth and color shift. The surface can appear deep purple-red in low light, then glow red under stronger illumination.

This standard version features a polygonal barrel turned from solid ebony and hand-coated with Aka-Tamenuri lacquer. An ebonite option is also available at a higher price and includes the grip section.
